LaQuanda Plantt, born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut founded ElleQ Casting in 2009. A self declared “Indie Casting Director”, LaQuanda prides herself in building relationships with the future of filmmaking.

ElleQ Casting is a casting company specializing in Principal Casting for any type of project from feature films to music videos. Her credits include the feature films Probable Cause, Curveball, the upcoming Professor Mack starring Lisa Wu, Robert Christopher Riley, Timon Kyle Durrett, Jackie Christie & Erica Hubbard, Walk Away from Love starring Noree Victoria, Brad James, Brely Evans and Robert Christopher Riley, and Dirty South House Arrest, starring comedians Rodney Perry, Tyler Does, and Pierre Edwards. In 2014, LaQuanda assisted with Extras Casting for the Academy Award Nominated film “Selma”. In addition to Casting Director, LaQuanda is also one of the Producers of the action packed Award Winning Web Series “Osiris”, she has also been credited an Associate Producer and Co Producer of a few feature films she has worked on as well.

Via ElleQ Casting Workshops, social media and guest speaking appearances, LaQuanda wants to encourage others that dreams are not limited, if you believe and work hard towards that belief, you can achieve anything you dream to do.
